In a World of My Own

...which is exactly where I have been lately. I have been slipping out of reality just so I can do more creative things. Life becomes too dull doing work all of the time...so I ignored what needed to be done these past days to energize my imagination. A world of my own.

I feel more productive when I put in music by my favorite composers who are: Joe Hisaishi, Yann Tiersen, and Clint Mansell. I also recently bought Disney 60 Years of Musical Magic, which also helps in the creative process.

Beautiful cherub popping out of the painting... well done.. It's great when you can just pop out of ordinary life sometimes and give over to creating...

Wonderful artwork and I completely understand....getting lost in creating art is sometimes the best thing to do,

I agree, I love listening to inspiring music, it's like dancing with art when i have my music on...so inspiring. I am really into Adele, lately! Her voice just is amazing.

You're cute. :) Love the sketch you have started and I'm with you. Most often, I have some sort of music or fave TV show playing in the background to keep me inspired. :D

I so know what you mean about skipping out on reality to create. I sometimes can only escape in my head but that's enough, sometimes.

Beautiful work...love the eyes! I'm crazy about big eyes and always seem to be drawn to them in my own work too! Found you from your Sunday Sketches! Again...your work is awesome and beautiful!

These are so beautiful, and I agree, having something nice to listen to while creating seems to add to the production of work somehow! Good luck with your finals :)

i am in the same boat as you: finals are putting a stop to all my creative projects right now! it's less frustrating with music in the background though :D
