i adore your mixed media rabbit! what a good boyfriend you have. for he buys you a pencil case, that looks very similar to your artwork. hear what i'm saying? your art can be displayed on pencil cases too.
Oooooh, I was given a teal coloured Colleen pencil pack with a Makoto Takahashi style girl on the front for my 8th birthday. I LOVED those pencils and still remember the blisters I had after sharpening all the pencils. My teacher took pity on me and let me use her sharpener with the crank (>0<).
Ooo....looks great on that bold floral background! ...and I find framing anything, suddenly makes it look like legitimate art, y'know...it's the coolest effect....not that your art isn't legitimate...your art is beyond fab....it just makes it so "official" sorta ;P
Cute pencil case....love those anime eyes! Hugs, Dear Shayla...and have a great weekend!
Your artwork is cool too! I love the the top two. They're very jazzy. In a 1920's sort of way. I'm currently working on something a bit similar, but not really. You'll have to wait and see :)
Such a cute bunny ~ love it! ~ Also, the pencil box ~ Wow! ~ lucky you! ~ great boyfriend ~thanks, namaste, Carol ^_^ Happy SS and Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Shayla,
this piece is wonderful. I love the depth of your shading and details.
I love your girls big eyes! Cute sketch!
Cute rabbit.
So nice of your boyfriend to buy such a cute pencil box.
you are very creative and come up with wonderful concepts. So original, which of course I am not, yet!
Love your bunny girl. She is so dramatic on the rose background.
Oh, she's so cute with her wonderful big eyes and bunny ears. <3
Oh, I love your new piece! That background really looks sweet with your girl - very much like old shojo! Also, your new pencil tin is beautiful! <3
LOVE the pencil box and I bet your new piece will look great on the wall too :)
I love that picture, it looks so dramatic with the background pattern and frame!
From Carys of La Ville Inconnue
Lovely new art. There's something spooky about a bunny hat and a romantic rose print. And that is in deed a cool pencil case.
This is beautiful! I'd love to try something like that someday, cutting out a picture and putting it on a patterned background...
Also, your blog's looking awesome! I'm so busy I seldom get time to visit blogs anymore... ;__;
Have a great weekend!
