Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

I am still in an art rut and it is driving me insane;I have been taking my mind off of it by doing spontaneous activities/saying YES to (almost) everything...just like in the movie Yes Man! I am stoked that EatSleepDraw actually published another one of my pieces. It feels great to run into your own artwork at random on different websites...it is happening a lot lately and I cannot explain how much I enjoy it.
I uploaded some prints to my insanely inactive (but active now) Etsy shop today, just to try it out...

Basically, that is all I have for this week...being bombarded with homework actually kind of sucks but I have to deal with it to keep my GPA owning! (I would much rather be creating things though... )

It's so sad because I know exactly how you feel :( I have 'artist's block' right now and I feel like I don't even know how to hold a paint brush.

When I get back in my art phase I do so many paintings & drawings, so I can't wait for it to come back. Whenever that happens.

Congratulations on being featured again! That's awesome. I'm in an art rut about 98% of the time so don't fret! Keep up the good work sister, you're taking over the world!

Hi Shay! No worries, Chica...the muse will come aknocking again....you know how she likes to arrive unannounced and then insist you succomb to her whims!

Congrats on being featured again...and get your store stocked! Now that more people are finding out about you, they'll want to know how to buy the beautiful art they see!

Have you heard of www.theuntappedsource.com ? You can upload your images and people can buy prints directly from them....then they'll cut you a check ;)

Take care! ...and beware the visiting Muse at 3am :)

Saying YES to things is important. Honestly I think creative people need to have lives in order to be truly creative because that's what can keep you inspired sometimes. (This is not to say your homework isn't also important.)

P.S. Love everything you posted here.

Your pieces look very cool in the frames Congrats on running into your work on another website, that's neat. Homework does have a tendancy (sp?) to suck!
